The 2021 Formula 1 season was arguably the most exciting in the 71-year history of the World championship.

It was almost impossible to separate the two rivals, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, who came to the final race of the year in Abu Dhabi tied on points. The fact it took a controversial last lap shootout to decide the outcome was perhaps no surprise after an epic season of racing.
