Late Constable

at the in London, until February 13, explores the artist’s later paintings, from 1825 until his unexpected death in 1837. The exhibition brings sketches as well as watercolours, drawings and prints showing the expressive brushwork and enthusiasm that characterised these late works. Subjects include the British countryside and seascapes and highlight Constable’s masterly studies of weather phenomena.
