WASHINGTON — The House voted on Tuesday to hold former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with a special committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, setting the stage for possible criminal prosecution of an adviser to former President Donald Trump.
