Q How long should I warm up for? My time’s always limited in the school, but I don’t want to damage my horse.

Gaye says: Whatever activity you’re doing, warm up is essential for both horse and rider. It will increase blood flow to muscles and vital organs, stretch muscles steadily to develop suppleness and prevent injury, and also prepare you both mentally.
