Steve Backshall is back

Steve Backshall’s a busy guy at the moment. Not only did he brilliantly host the Travel Awards in November, but he also has not one, but two new shows out at the moment. Firstly, (Dave; catch up on ), which sees the naturalist and explorer continue to visit uncharted territory (starting with Kamchatka), taking on physical challenges and encountering the wildlife that live there. But over on Sky Nature, he’s also headlining . This celebration takes him from the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans – encountering a critically endangered, and rather nosy, oceanic whitetip in the Bahamas – as well as delivers a warning about the risks facing these marvels-of-evolution after 400 million years of roaming the waters.
