The French Rooster

Triumphs in international football (France winning the FIFA World Cup on home soil in 1998 and more recently in Russia in 2018) has provided the French Rooster (Le Coq Gaulois) with a publicity perch far higher than he ever achieved by appearing on French postage stamps.
