Laurent Ferrier x Revolution & The Rake Classic Origin and Classic Micro-Rotor

Regular readers will know how zealously we value collaborations. When creative entities of a different ilk come together, a crosspollination of ideas takes place whose effects can be alchemical. Here, below, are the latest fruits of one of the creative alliances we’re most proud of to date: The Rake and Revolution’s partnership with the independent Swiss watchmaker Laurent Ferrier.

This is our second collaboration, following one last year inspired by a watch co-created by Aurel Bacs, the legendary ‘master of the hammer’, and the horological author Auro Montanari (better known by his pseudonym, John Goldberger), which was itself inspired by scientific-dial chronometers from the 1930s and 1940s.

This time round, the two steel case models our friends in Geneva have come up with also evoke the same era. Now, though, surrounding showstopping sun-ray dials in ‘Brut champagne’ (in the case of the Classic Origin) and ‘rosé champagne’ (in the case of the Classic Micro-Rotor piece, which features Breguet’s
