Decoy run

Many aspects of fieldsports bring me pleasure, one of which is the ability to use hand-crafted elements to create success in the field. I am forever experimenting in the man cave to conjure new equipment or improve store-bought designs to aid my shooting adventures.

Having a successful day with something I have created gives me a great sense of fulfilment. Creating a decoy that imitates creatures and convinces quarry to come within striking range is amazing and something that I think everyone should try. This season I have been making and testing Canada goose silhouette decoys to aid my adventures on the foreshore.
