Visiting Henley during regatta week is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The world’s most prestigious rowing regatta pulls out the stops, with stands, enclosures and hospitality tents lining the river as far as the eye can see. Competing teammates sporting stripy rowing blazers dot the raucous crowds, as everyone – rowing fan or not – drinks in the atmosphere at one of the key social fixtures of a great British summer.
