Broadly speaking, everyone knows about the iPad, but since Apple regularly tweaks and refreshes the specification, it’s worth taking a close look at what you get if you buy one today. Happily, the ninth-generation iPad (released in September 2021) turns out to be the most attractive model yet.

One immediate reason for this is the price. Compared to the 2020 edition, Apple has knocked a tenner off the price, while simultaneously doubling the storage.
