mend and make awesome

RACHEL BURKE

What are we looking at here? This object is a treasured Joana Partyka vase. How did it become damaged? We moved house this year, and my toddler discovered the box labelled ‘ceramics’. The scene definitely happened in slow motion; it was the classic “Nooooooooo!” How did you mend it? The first step was gently cobbling the piece together and meticulously aligning the broken pieces to their original spots. I then secured everything in place with some or on Instagram at @imakestagram.
