■ Sirdar Happy Cotton (100% cotton, 20g/43m), 4 balls of Shower (762), 2 balls of Cookie (777), 1 ball of each: Beach Hut (750), Yacht (786), Sherbet (778)
■ A 2.75mm (US C/2) hook
■ Toy stuffing
■ 2 safety eyes, 6mm (available from www.mohairbearmakingsupplies.co.uk)
■ 140cm craft wire, 2mm thick
■ Pliers
■ All-purpose adhesive

Row 5 Ch1, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, dc in next st, turn. [4 sts]

Rows 6-7 As Row 2.

Row 8 Ch1, dc in next st, 2dc in next 2 sts, dc in next st, turn. [6 sts]

Rows 9-10 As Row 2.

Row 11 Ch1, (1dc, 2dc in next st, 1dc) twice. [8 sts]

Rows 12-14 As Row 2.

Row 15 Ch1, (2dcs, 2dc in next st) twice, dc in next 2 sts, turn. [10 sts]

Rows 16-18 As Row 2.
