I WENT STRAIGHT TO HELL

art of editing is playing fewer video games. Once upon a time, I covered every single game that touched a desk here, now I rarely attempt any. But that has an unexpected benefit – I get to catch up on titles I missed the first time around,. It recently landed on the Xbox store, and I just had to give it a shot. I’m really pleased I did. The artwork is amazing, the story is fantastic, especially for a roguelike, and the gameplay is a finely tuned machine. Guiding Zagreus around the ever-changing environs of Hades in search of escape is a nearly perfect gameplay loop, punishing but just challenging enough to keep you coming back for one more attempt.
