Watching my baby girl snoozing peacefully in her Moses basket, I smiled at her.
‘You’re a little angel, aren’t you,’ I cooed softly to my newborn daughter, Audrey.
She’d been born two days earlier, in May 2012, weighing a healthy 8lb 15.5oz.
As quietly as I could, I crept slowly out of the room.
‘Mummy!’ her big brother Harry, two, screamed. ‘Mummy, I’m hungry!’
I winced, waiting for Audrey’s inevitable wail at being awoken.
