My next PC might run Windows 12!

I have a desktop PC and a laptop – both were refurbished in 2013 with 8GB RAM and SSDs. They both meet my requirements and are sufficiently quick. I would be loath to shell out £500 to £700 on a new computer that I’d only use in the same way as my existing kit.

When my machines do eventually give up the ghost, I’d be looking to replace them with newer refurbished machines. Other readers have suggested that even some 2019 machines aren’t compatible with Windows 11. This brings me to the conclusion that it may be quite a while before I move to Windows 11, or can buy a refurbished machine with Windows 11. Although, by then, we might be discussing Windows 12!
