MY NURSING DAYS

I knitted this tea cosy for my daughter, and I added the glasses so it looks like me when I was nursing. I trained as a nurse in the late 1960s/early 1970s and our uniforms took a bit of getting used to. As you went through the ranks, your dress and belt changed colour and when you qualified, you were allowed to wear a special buckle and cuffs.
