Help with coloured pencils

Peter Kimberley (Letters, for some time. It was an article describing a project of how to depict a blue tit (Chloe O’Neil, April 2020) that gave me the impetus to have a go so I bought some pencils and departed on holiday. I was so enthused by the outcome that I decided to read up on techniques.
