SEDDON’S LAST HURRAH!
Seddon Atkinson was formed in 1974 by the merging of two great British truck builders – Seddon and Atkinson. It had a job on its hands from the off to woo buyers due to the rise of foreign trucks coming into the UK – indeed 1974 was the same year, MAN started to sell in the UK, following on from Scania, DAF, Volvo, Mercedes and others.
