EDWARDS TO THE FORE IN ULSTER

The almost 94-mile deciding British Rally Championship event in Newry brought to an end a race between Volkswagen Polo GTi R5 team-mates with pre-event BRC leader Osian Pryce crashing on the penultimate stage to ease Matt Edwards’s path to a third crown in the closing miles and a win in Northern Ireland with co-driver Darren Garrod.
