EDWARDS STORMS CAMBRIAN, BUT THE THREATS ARE GATHERING

Ouality. That was the word flying around the service park ahead of the opening round of the British Rally Championship. It wasn’t the number of R5-spec machines crossing the start ramp that caught the eye, it was who was behind the wheel of them. There’s a real case to suggest that with former champions, multiple event winners and young hotshots in equal abundance, this is the best cast the championship has seen since its relaunch four years ago.

The old adage ‘it’s a marathon not a sprint’certainly didn’t apply to the season-opening Cambrian Rally, which took place on February 8, though.
