IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
Looking at Jackson, I could tell he was over the moon with the animals which were in our garden.
It was 12 August 2016 – my boy Jackson’s second birthday.
My husband, Darren, 39, who I call Dal, helped me to make the day special.
There were snakes, a skunk, a bearded dragon, a pygmy hedgehog and lots of different squawking birds.
When the big white cockatoo swooped down and landed on Jackson’s shoulder, flapping its wings, I could tell he was loving the day.
Jackson loves the crazy noises that birds make.
We kept the celebration small with just close friends and family.
It was a wonderful day.
Only, it wasn’t the second birthday we’d expected when we first welcomed our seemingly healthy baby boy, Jackson, into this world in 2014, weighing 7lb 10oz,
