TIME for a CHANGE

As the busy holiday season winds down and the year comes to a close, the quieter winter days offer the opportunity to freshen our surroundings. Take advantage of a little less hustle-bustle to reset your style by trying these repurposing ideas from Country Sampler stylist René Haines. René was motivated to explore decorating with clocks and clockfaces when she happened upon two old clock shells that were perfect for a makeover. The stately shapes drew her eye, and she allowed her mind to wander into the possibilities of how to give them new life. Her groupings are centered on clocks that she reimagined as well as collections of timepieces that add impact just as they are.

“I like the way the old clocks look,” René says.
