What Went Right, What Went Wrong

COIN TOSS: Seahawks win the toss and elect to defer. The Steelers get the football first.

8:49 p.m. – What Went Right: The first 10 minutes of the first quarter contained only three combined first downs between the two teams. One of the defensive standouts for the Steelers during this phase was rookie Tre Norwood. On one Seattle possession, Norwood dumped D.K. Metcalf 2 yards short of the line to gain on a third-and-4 to force one punt, and then on the ensuing Seattle possession, Norwood knocked a pass away on a third-and-5 to force another punt.
