Q Any tips for keeping my horse level headed at competitions? He always gets off the lorry very excited and it’s really knocking my confidence.

My best piece of advice would be to get a good instructor on board who understands the situation and can help you train correctly, because it’s all about teaching your horse, at home, to be accepting of what he’s likely to experience at a competition.
