1 Girly Game Changer

It’s finally happened — the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe has now featured its first cisgender female contestant. For years (and to much criticism), the reality franchise has limited its competitions primarily to cisgender gay men. After the franchise finally welcomed out trans and nonbinary contestants, Drag Race UK broke new ground with cis lesbian drag queen and competitor Victoria Scone. “Hopefully there’ll be a million more AFAB [assigned female at birth] drag queens, drag kings, nonbinary performers, and so on,” she recently told the BBC.

2 A Gaga Goodbye

The dynamic duo of jazz is back and providing, Lady Gaga and the 95-year-old crooner recently reunited to bring us , Bennett’s 61st and decidedly final studio album. The two formed a lasting friendship after meeting when Bennett asked Gaga to perform the song “The Lady Is a Tramp” with him in 2011.
