Thank you for sharing “Red Sky at Night? Could Be Right” (Oct ’21) on the various weather lores. I had no idea there were so many.

I’d like to add another to your list—an original from my father. He trained as a navigator in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War and became well-versed in weather forecasting. His saying refers to a phenomenon he regularly noticed: the night after a cold front goes through is much cooler than the cold front itself.
