FATHOM CM 2

It’s been over two years since we first gave away Seaweed Audio’s Fathom CM, and in that time it has become a firm favourite among our readers. That’s simply because, like we said at the time, this is “the most sonically versatile and powerful Computer Music synthesiser giveaway ever!”

Fathom CM is a modular synth, which means that you can select individual oscillators, filters, effects and modulators, and then patch them together in whatever configuration you like.

The synth features seven oscillator types, including VA, FM, additive, wave-drawing and wavetable options. There are 30 filter types, nine effects – including reverb, chorus, delay and phaser – and many modulation options including LFOs, customisable envelopes, step sequencing and shapable LFOs.
