Backfire

Too bad hindsight is 20/20 and we never know what’s coming next. I would’ve been more than happy to drive my 427 Corvette Convertible 60th Anniversary Package to Bennington, so you guys could drive it and take as many photos as you wanted for the Buyer’s Guide in the September issue. It’s an all-original 3LT with just under 4,000 miles. It’s number 750 of 1000 and I’m only the second owner. I got it from Peter Klutt and the guys at Legendary Motorcar in Ontario, Canada, and I am always looking for an excuse to drive it.

I always thoroughly read and enjoy McNessor’s columns each month. Relative to the September missive, I have owned a C2 and C3 Corvette, currently own a 911, and seriously lust after a C8. The conundrum is not solvable.

My plan is to buy a winning scratcher and get both a new C8 and 911. So far that has not worked out. But… dreams are perpetual.
