hen the doors to Bauer New Zealand closed almost precisely one year ago, it was with great sadness that ’s unpublished issue number two for 2020 was quietly archived, never to be read or cherished by the publication’s loyal reader base. A, and fronting various campaigns for local and international brands are just a few of her accomplishments. Mackay might currently be based across the ditch in Sydney, but it’s been a pleasure to watch her meteoric rise to the top from afar. While Mackay has undoubtedly helped open the doors for others to follow in her footsteps, the industry still has a way to go as far as inclusivity is concerned, which Angela Bevan explores on page 78.
