And it’s one that’s.” Whether it’s via a newsletter; sponsored ad; or, God forbid, a real-life friend (which then means you must buy said thing because they’re a trusted source, right?), the temptation to shop and then shop some more is real. And, of course, they’re called ‘must-haves’ for a reason. More often than not, they’re expertly curated to target individual tastes, desires, and interests thanks to online information sharing. There needn’t be shame associated with falling victim to a strategic marketing ploy. After all, there’s nothing wrong with shopping. However, it’s essential that when we do shop, we do it well.
