CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ULTIMATE DAY IN ROME FROM MORNING TO EVENING?

I’ll describe my Sunday, which in my opinion is the most beautiful and ‘Roman’ day of the week. I wake up early enough, have a healthy breakfast at home – I do love avo on rye toast, which is very Australian I know – and then I always head to Porta Portese, one of the largest flea markets in Europe. Here you can find furniture, antiques such as glassware or old telephones, but also vinyl and lots of books. You can find the strangest and most particular things there but make sure you put your wallet and phone in your front pocket, or you’ll not find them anymore. At noon we go to the trattoria, perhaps not the usual old trattoria but the more modern ones, where our friends work. I love Trecca – Cucina
