½ cup light brown sugar
½ cup plain soy creamer
¼ cup vegan butter
¼ cup agave nectar
¾ teaspoon salt

1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sugar, brown sugar, creamer, butter, and agave, whisking until combined. Bring mixture to a boil, and once sugars are dissolved, adjust heat to medium.

2. Simmer mixture for 7 minutes, whisking every 2 minutes. Once caramel is bubbling, check temperature with candy thermometer until it reaches between 225 to 230 degrees. Add salt.

3. Carefully transfer sauce to a glass or metal dish and cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
