BEING AN ARTIST, CAN YOU TELL US THE BEST GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS TO VISIT IN SOUTH KOREA?

In Eastern countries, ceramics are the foundation of art. As such, in order to see the essence of Eastern countries and Korean culture, I would like to recommend ceramic-themed museums and galleries. The National Museum of Korea [pictured far right], located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, is home to a collection of over 220,000 artefacts from ancient to modern times encompassing a wide range of topics, including art and culture. Nogo Gallery, located in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, is). He was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit of Korea in 2019. He is currently working on art pieces to be exhibited at the Princessehof, the National Museum of Ceramics in the Netherlands, in 2021. Visitors can create pottery alongside the artist and enjoy a tea ceremony hosted by the artist’s daughters.
