As a food dropper for hikers and tour companies, Wes carries incredible loads on his back, hauling food, supplies and equipment over rugged tracks to remote wilderness locations. It’s a physically demanding and labour-intensive job and not many stick with it. But Wes loves the challenge, once slogging a mind-boggling 63kg—an outstanding feat of strength and endurance which he modestly brushes aside.
