The clients sought a compact house that would fillFlorida house features deep set brick windowsills and nooks, creating versatile surfaces for storing or displaying the clients’ many objects and collectibles. The external fascia colour was originally specified to match the brick; however, as the project neared completion, the clients had a strong desire for it to be green. Interior spaces are open, but contain several built-in seating areas to offer a sense of refuge.
