IN THE EARLY YEARS OF MY INVOLVEMENT WITH ARABIAN HORSES, I WAS ABLE TO REMEMBER EACH HORSE I HAD SEEN AND PHOTOGRAPHED. ALMOST 50 YEARS AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF HORSES LATER, THIS HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE. THE HORSES I REMEMBER MOST CLEARLY ARE OFTEN NOT THE MORE RECENT ONES, BUT THOSE I SAW IN THE 1970s AND 1980s, AND NOT NECESSARILY THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES.
