I am embarking on the full restoration of my 1986 XJ12 Series 3. Having owned and enjoyed it for over 15 years, it has become a little ‘down at heel’ with faded paintwork and blemished chrome bumpers. The latter malady set me thinking, I have seen pictures of Tom Walkinshaw’s personal XJ12 on the internet, fitted with (to my eyes) an attractive styling kit, Speedline wheels and no doubt, many under bonnet enhancements.
