Forever Learning

My home is in Hastings, a town on the Westernport side of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. I was born in 1940 at Carnegie, an outer suburb of Melbourne.

Art was never on my agenda, even into my fifties. My life had been such a practical one – mainly focused on business and raising a family. I was starved of any artistic creativity … apart from my love of gardening when time permitted.

Growing up I was always the tomboy. I loved animals, especially horses; and I dreamed of one day marrying a farmer and having a stud farm. I always felt a great connection to the land
