Wow, that is an arresting finish! This is our initial thought as we unpack this five-piece set from Tama. It is called Caramel Aurora, a name that may be intended to evoke thoughts of the northern lights, yet the warm amber and woody brown hues conjure up more of a feeling of the exotic warmth of Africa.

It looks something like Zebra wood, but this is in fact a paint process that is then lacquered – no generic wrap here – each drum is unique in this respect. It is certainly a bold choice and one of the four listed finishes
