KANGAROO VALLEY

AN ARCHITECTURALLY DESIGNED one-bedroom cabin that echoes the local landscape and treads a small footprint, Aframe Kangaroo Valley was designed with a slow pace in mind and sustainability at its heart. Recycled building materials used throughout include telegraph poles that lived a former life on a suburban Sydney street and 150-year-old terracotta roof shingles reimagined into bathroom floor tiles. It’s the passion magazine and a designer by trade, and her partner Ben Gray, a registered architect. Here, Sophie talks us through her perfect Kangaroo Valley day.
