CARRY ON WORKING FROM HOME
Working from home has been a work in progress for most people, and it has taken time for many to find a comfortable setup that works for them. This is not surprising when you consider that for most employers of office-based staff, the actual cost is roughly twice the salary because of accommodation, computing equipment, health and safety, and all of the other considerations people receive to get their work done. This should not stop you making the most of your home environment because it takes very little effort to greatly improve your home working setup and to make it more comfortable and more efficient for your needs. We will highlight the simple and effective ways in which you can make working from home for extended periods much more manageable. You’ll feel more balanced as a result of these useful tips.
Be more secure than ever
If you are using your Apple products, and in particular a Mac, for work purposes then you will need to pay particular attention to your Security & Privacy settings. You should read up on all of your employer’s rules and regulations, and also check to see what devices you are allowed to use. Hopefully they will let you carry on using your Mac.
Limit your devices
We would suggest limiting the number of devices that are using the same network as your main work computer. In particular pay attention to non-Apple devices, which may not be as secure as the Mac and iOS systems.
Mind your apps
Install only the apps you need and remove any that are not necessary. Pay particular attention to apps that do not come from official channels such as the iOS
