Use It, Don't Lose It

National Treasury’s research shows that only six percent of South Africans can afford to retire. This means 94 percent of our fellow South Africans are approaching retirement without enough savings and have to find other means of funding their retirement.

According to a Benchmark Survey by Sanlam Employee Benefits, the majority of retirees have to rely on family members, while others have resorted to a lifelong job or the state pension.
