Welcome!
One of our Warm Fuzzies this week, on page 74, gave me extra warm fuzzies and a flood of wonderful memories. For all of her 93 years, Phyllis Brinkerhoffteam found other great group songs and dances that are just as much fun. Jude told us how, when she worked at the old Grace Bros, they'd play the 'Macarena' over the PA after the store had closed. 'Everyone would dance at their registers,' she said. 'It was cringe-worthy, but great fun.' Mari line-danced to 'Nutbush City Limits' at a family wedding two years ago. While Liz had us laughing with her tale of how her mum Kath and her Aunty Mary do the ABBA 'Mamma Mia' dance (a la ) at every family event. 'Usually they've had a glass of wine,' said Liz. 'And even though they've done it literally hundreds of times, they still end up stopping mid-way through to argue over who turned their head too early or got out of sync!' I hope these stories bring some happy memories for you too!
