Education on how horses learn may help protect vets

UNDERSTANDING how horses learn may help prevent vets sustaining injuries when dealing with “difficult” horses.

A study by researchers of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, aimed to document the challenges faced by vets dealing with difficult horses and their approaches to managing them, including their understanding of the processes through which horses learn.
