Newmarket’s ‘Tack Lady’
My favourite things to make are hand-stitched leather bridles.
I don’t rush a bridle, and once I’ve cut, edged, stained and pricked it ready to stitch, it’s relaxing and doesn’t feel like work. I make coloured bridles, too; I made a bright pink one for a girl who turned eight last year. The family sent me a video of it on the pony to say thank you.
