WINTER BASS

I LOVE MY BASS FISHING, WHETHER it be chucking lures about on a warm summer’s evening or manoeuvring a boat into three feet of water and gently lobbing a single ragworm out with just one ounce of lead. However, it’s the late autumn and winter months that I really look forward to, because that’s when the really big girls come out to play.

Sometimes I’ll be fishing the offshore banks with lures for them, but what I really look forward to is fishing a live or dead fish bait underneath a float over a reef.
