SHE wept with relief when the judge handed down his verdict. The man who had abducted her, raped her and slit her throat was going to be locked away for the rest of his life.
Tiisetso Motsekalle from Mautse Rosendal in the Free State was left for dead after the brutal attack, but against all odds she survived.
After she was robbed, violated and had her throat slashed with her own knife, she used her T-shirt to stem the bleeding and walked 8km to safety where she was able to share detailed information that led to her attacker’s arrest.
