IT’S BEEN THE trip of a lifetime for Aussie electro-proggers Voyager, and what better way to celebrate 20 years and seven albums than with a specially curated, fan-picked setlist highlighting both the vibrancy and diversity of their back catalogue?

This second livestream event, beaming worldwide from Perth’s empty Magnet House venue, comes complete with a full and taken from debut , its power metal theatrics are a far cry from the glittering pop-swathed prog of more recent times. skyscraping falsettos, furious solo trade-offs and blastbeats showcase the band at their most bombastic and despite Danny Estrin’s self-deprecating quip of “I can’t believe we ever wrote this”, these kind of infectious choruses and symphonic licks were designed for the live stage.
