Beat / Are you now back in continuous working mode after the forced Corona break?

Ben / Yeah, it‘s very stressful right now. Now that the doors of the music industry have reopened and live shows are possible again, I don‘t have time for anything else outside of music. But I‘m really up for it. For the last two months I‘ve been playing every weekend, sometimes even several shows.

Beat / You were on the road a lot before lockdown. Did the forced break influence the work on your new album?

Ben / Yes, a lot. Shortly before Corona, I noticed that my sound was getting louder, harder and more club-compatible because I played in front of many people on big stages. Quieter titles don‘t do so well there. At that time I thought that the next album would also be a bit club compatible. But thanks to the lockdown, things became very relaxed [laughs].
