WHY? Swimming helps arthritis by strengthening muscles, easing stiffness and improving joint movement. Launching into lengths with no plan? Personal trainer and swimming coach Georgie Bloy suggests this:
✣ 20% warm up. Swim lengths at an easy pace and focus on your breathing.
